Week 4: Input/Output

          For this week, we learned the basics of RFID technology and the input/output devices. This topic can help my product grow. Many people are worried because it can be heartbreaking to lose such a valuable device such as the MMM. But there is a solution to that becuase all the products come with RFID technology fully installed.
        RFID technology is a simple system which transmits the identity of an object or person wirelessly using radio waves. If one were to misplace the item, there is nothing to worry because with RFID, you are able to track your device where ever it may be. There will be RFID tags placed in each device and these tags conists of an antenna and microchip where the information is scored.
       There are usually passive tags and active tags. The difference between the two is passive does not need battery power and active tags do need battery power. However, most of our product will come in the commonly used passive tags. As stated before, they do not need battery power and it transmits data using power genereated by the radio waves.
